# Cogent - TATA peering issue impact on Deepgram

### Date: May 21, 2024

Cogent and TATA, two major Internet Service Providers (ISPs), are engaged in a dispute over network connectivity. As a result, if your requests to Deepgram originate from the TATA ISP, you may experience slower or dropped connections.

Please be assured that Deepgram is actively investigating options to improve connectivity in the APAC region. One reported mitigation is for customers with requests originating within the TATA ISP can route their requests to Deepgram through a VPC located outside of the TATA ISP.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
